Welcome, one and all, to the Twenty-fourth running of the Interleague Super Cup, proudly brought to you by the Football Association of Nyland in association with Millerainian Major League Soccer! For the third time, foreign teams have been asked to join the invitational, but with the inclusion of two more foreign nation slots to the competition, the tournament is chock full of international talent. With now twenty-four foreign clubs in the competition, can the local hopefuls from Nyland and Millerainia be able to hold their own and keep the title in local hands, away from the best-of-the-best club teams from Videjszeme, Angiris, Goldecia, Sequoia, Svarna Surya, and Drahen? Only the next four months of the Beautiful Game can tell the story!

Qualification

League qualification for the Super Cup is decided by a random drawing of all interested leagues via a complex computerized system to make sure selection is as fair and unbiased as possible. The countries of Nyland and Millerainia have a total of 4 slots each with which to make entries into the cup, and are automatically selected to enter the cup; the remaining 28 participant slots are split evenly between the six national leagues that were lucky enough to be selected.

Which club teams each of the different leagues send are dependent entirely upon the leagues, themselves; the Interleague Super Cup Committee has no say in creating or enforcing the rules by which leagues select the teams that will participate in the cup. However, the club teams that enter the cup are generally considered the best teams in their respective nations.
